Long <br />Division Director <br />RE: Montoya Pit, Permit No. M-1980-146, Application for Technical Revision No. 2 Incomplete <br />Dear Ms. and Mr. Gilleland: <br />On April 27, 2001, C and J Gravel Products, Inc. (C and J1 hand delivered an application for <br />technical revision to the Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG) Durango Field Office. Before <br />that application can be considered submitted for review C and J must submit the 5188.00 <br />application fee. <br />As we discussed when the application was delivered, the required BLM financial warranty <br />amount is greater than the DMG calculated reclamation cost estimate. Therefore, the minimum <br />5100.00 bond can be posted with DMG as long as the requirements of Rule 4.2.1(8) have been <br />met. Please address the requirements of this rule by including the specified provision in your <br />permit through this technical revision application and by submitting the 5100.00 financial <br />warranty. Please notify DMG of which type of warranty you wish to utilize so the appropriate <br />forms can be forwarded to C and J. <br />Proof of BLM acceptance of their required 5240,000.00 financial warranty must be submitted to <br />DMG along with the 5100.00 DMG required financial warranty by May 31, 2001.
