Information provided is insufficient for a determination by the Colorado Division of Minerals
and Geology (Division) as required by Rule 4.05.18. As we discussed by telephone today, please
modify page 2.05-45.6d of the application to indicate that there will be no clearance of vegetation, no
earthwork, and no storage (other than the pump fuel tank) of any oil, grease or fuel at the water point
within a 100-foot buffer zone of Fish Creek.
Item 2. For pagination purposes, please submit a revised page 2.05-45.7 with the first two lines deleted,
and the last S lines of this page, dated 07/2/05, reinstated.
Item 3. The application cover page indicated no increase in reclamation bond. However, an increase is
required to the reclamation liability to reclaim the boreholes. Page 2.05-119 provides a generic
description of the reclamation of the boreholes. If there are no exceptions, this provides the necessary
language in the permit application package. However, please submit a reclamation estimate for the work.
In accordance with Rule 2.07.3(1), you have the opportunity to amend, review, or otherwise make your
application complete. In the interests of expediting this minor revision, a copy of this letter is being
transmitted to you by e-mail. A signed copy follows in the mail. Revised pages will be accepted in
response to this e-mail by e-mail or by regular mail.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
-Byron G.
