The revision was submitted <br />by Rimrock Coal Co.. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this <br />date of filing. <br />In this revision, the operator proposes changes to the revegetation standards for live vegetative cover, species <br />diversity, and woody plant density. <br />The surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 3 miles southeast of Trinidad, Colorado. The <br />permit area is further described as follows: <br />Portions of the NW 1/4 of Section 29, T33S, R63W of the 6th P.M. <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Trinidad East. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public inspection at the Las Animas County Courthouse, <br />200 E First St Rm 104, Trinidad, CO 81082, and at the Division office. For additional information or to provide <br />written comments, contact the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, <br />Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567. In order for us to comply with regulatory time frames, we request that comments <br />be submitted within fifteen (15) days of this letter.
