Material reviewed, per your request, was your draft letter <br />that was attached. <br />Question 1. Should comments 86a and 86b be deleted from our comments? <br />No. <br />Question 2. What specific changes should be made to the wording of the comments 86a and 86b? <br />Comment 86a, first paragraph. I defer to Kent on the "(assuming the augmentation plan is <br />applicable)". Note the edit of "augmentation". <br />Comment 86a, second paragraph. I suggest the last sentence be changed from "Please use a <br />standard engineering method (e.g. Bishop's Method of Slices) and soil sample data from the <br />dam." to read "Please use a standazd engineering method (e.g. Bishop's Method of Slices), soil <br />sample data (engineering chazacteristics) from the dam, and local seismic data (see comment <br />86d." <br />A11 of the materials supplied are returned (hand-carried) to you.
