Long <br />Division Dupcior <br />Enclosed you will find the Division of Minerals and Geology's Proposed Decision for Technical Revision <br />No. 8l at the West Elk Mine. Notice of the proposed decision will be published in the Delta County <br />Independent as soon as possible. The first publication will initiate the ten (10) day public comment period <br />for the Division's decision. <br />Documentation must be submitted to the Division demonstrating that a copy of the approved revision <br />application was sent to the Office of Surface Mining and the Bureau of Land Management. The material <br />should be sent within 15 days of final approval. <br />The estimated liability amount of $43,465.00 for Technical Revision No. H 1, when added to the existing <br />liability amount of $ l0?45,670.00, exceeds the performance bond held. If you have not already done so, <br />please submit additional bond in the amount of $89,135.00. The revision will not be final until the bond <br />is approved by the Division.
