The spillway culvert was
sized to be a minimum 18-inch diameter. Two 18-inch culverts were actually installed. Culvert
C2-SA, placed at the meadow road intersection, was also sized to be 18-inches, based on the
entire flow from watershed 9A, even though only the upper portion could enter the culvert. This
culvert will allow better equipment access for the french drain construction on the slopes above
the portals.
An as-built survey of the new storage area between FW-1 and sedimentation pond MB-1 is
underway. With this information, the small area exemption and ditch Dl-3 calculations will be
revised and updates (including the culverts above) to Exhibit 66 and appropriate text tables will be
submitted.
Please contact me should you have questions.
Sincerely,
~~~~ ~~><
Kathleen G.
