Long Divivon U~reurn The Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 33, Article 34, Section 118, Paragraph 3 of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on March 25, 1996, an application to revise coal mining operations at the Trapper Mine was considered complete for the purposes of filing. The revision was submitted by Trapper Mining Inc. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. The revision addresses updates and modifications to previously approved reclamation and conservation programs. These changes are included in Trapper Mine's 1995 Annual Report, which includes updates to the Annual Reclamation Report, Annual Hydrology Report, drainageway reconstruction, spoil sampling, topsoil pile locations, livestock ponds, and other minor items. The surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 6'fz miles south of Craig, Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows: Township 5 North, Rance 90 West Portions of Sections 5 and 6 Township 5 North, Ranl:e 91 West Portions of Sections 1, 4 and 5 Sections 2 and 3, ALL Township 6 North. Range 90 West Portions of Sections 30 and 32 Section 31, ALL Township 6 North, Range 91 West Portions of Sections 21, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 32 Sections 33, 34, 35 and 36, ALL The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Castor Gulch.
