Cottony
Division Director
Natural Resource Trustee
The Division has completed a reclamation cost estimate update for RN-5. Please see the
enclosed cover memo from Jim Stark of our office, along with the estimate summary
form and task sheets. Note that the estimate is solely a cost update, reflecting cuTTent
costs associated with reclamation tasks associated with the fish and wildlife habitat
postmining land use reclamation plan.
Note that the new liability estimate ($2,233,045.00) is $183,684.00 higher than the
current liability estimate and culTent bond amount held by the Division. Unless
acceptable justi£cation supporting a lower liability amount is provided, a bond
rider or replacement bond will need to be submitted to bring the total bond amount
to at least $2,233,045.00, before RN-5 can be approved.
