BANTA, Director <br />December 29, ]987 <br />Mr. David Yamada <br />Routt County Planning Department <br />522 Lincoln Box 773598 <br />Steamboat Springs, CO 80477 <br />Dear Mr. Yamada: <br />Pursuant to Title 33, Article 34, Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised <br />Statutes, the Mined Land Reclamation Division hereby issues notice that on <br />December 22, 1987, an application for renewal of a valid, existing permit to <br />conduct coal mining operations, File No. C-82-056, by Twentymile Coal Company, <br />29515 Routt County Road No. 27, Oak Creek, CO 80467, was deemed complete for <br />the purposes of filing. All reviews and comment periods as provided in the <br />Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this day of filing. <br />The applicant proposes to continue conducting underground coal mining <br />operations at the Foidel Creek Mine located approximately 22 miles southwest <br />of Steamboat Springs, Colorado on Routt County Road No. 27. <br />A copy of the application is available for public inspection at the Routt <br />County Courthouse, 522 Lincoln Box 773598, Steamboat Springs, CO. Written <br />comments, objections or requests for an informal conference on the application <br />may be submitted to, and additional information obtained from, the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Division, Room 423, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, <br />(303) 866-3567.
