This minor revision is a <br />request for an extension of the submittal deadlines of the <br />revisions for Stipulations No. 25 and 26. The existing deadline <br />• for both is December 1, 1997 and we are asking for a one-week <br />extension to December 8, 1997. <br />Both stipulations were added to the permit with the approval of <br />Technical Revision No. 28. Seneca received the decision form for <br />TR28 on November 10, 1997. Stipulation No. 25 requested that <br />Seneca reevaluate the pond 006 model and demonstrate that the <br />pond is capable of meeting the performance standards as is or <br />modifying it so that it would. Stipulation No. 26 asked that a <br />revised backfilling and grading schedule for the 006 Gulch and <br />the north block mining area be submitted. <br />Seneca contracted our fall 1997 reclamation photos with Aero- <br />Graphics, Inc. of Salt Lake City, on October 22. Seneca requested <br />an expeditious turnaround time of this material because we knew <br />then, that the information they would provide us with for Seneca <br />II-W was necessary to do the required work for both stipulations. <br />Due to the adverse weather conditions we experienced at the <br />minesite, the mine areas were not photographed until November <br />6th. Aero-Graphics stated in their proposal that the updated <br />photos and contour information would be mailed out within 14 days <br />following the flight. It was shipped UPS-Next Day Air on November <br />21st and Seneca received this data on the 24th. It was then <br />forwarded to Mr. Tom Leidich of TerraMatrix/Mongomery Watson our <br />consultant for these projects that same day.
