Barra.
Drviaon Dneaor
The Division has reviewed TR-57, and has one general question on your request
to increase the maximum ceiling on coal production. Are the facilities
currently in place at Mt. Gunnison No. 1 capable of handling the increase in
production? Are the roads, portals, conveyors, coal handling structures,
utility corridors, ponds, diversions, and waste disposal area adequate to
sustain a production level of 3.8 million tons per year? This information is
required by Rule 2.05.3. Should you anticipate the need for additional
associated permitting with this rate of production, specifically state what
additional facilities you would need and provide commitments to prepare timely
submittals of this information prior to their construction and use.
Sincerely,
~ ~a~`,r ~J(i,i.l
•.
~ r 4 ,•~,
~ _i ./
Catherine W.
