I hope this letter finds
you and your wife well.
I am sending you a copy of my inspection report from my visit nn November 9, 1999 with Ross
Gubka to your home and the home of Mr. and Mrs. Reeder. It serves to document my observations
of these properties on that day. While the Division at this time does not have sufficient information
to determine that blasting from the mine is creating the damage to the walls in your basement, we
have not completed our investigation. We are continuing our review of the New Horizon Mine's
records, and if we have any additional questions, I hope you won't mind if we contact you.
Thank you again for your time, and if I may be of additional assistance, please do not hesitate to call
me at (303) 866-4933 (direct) or (303) 866-3567 (main).
Sincerely,

Daniel I.
