The application is to conduct surfiace mining ofi <br />sand and gravel and reclaim the area as rangeland. This <br />application is for enlargement ofi an existing dry pit. N^ water <br />use is anticipated and no ground water will be encountered. Due to <br />this, we have no objection to approval of this application. <br />We would like to point out that should ground water be encountered <br />in the pit and enposed to the atmosphere, the operator must obtain <br />a well permit from this office. <br />Should you have additional questions, please contact this <br />office. <br />cc: Orlyn Bell, Division Engineer <br />L.
