C-89-074, Minor
Revisions, Drill Sites, Haul Road Ditch and Area Between Diversion Ditch
and Gulch.
Dear Mr. Kerr:
The Division has reviewed the above-referenced submittal and determined that
it requires a technical revision rather than a minor revision. Please
resubmit it as a technical revision with a notice of publication. In
addition, there must be demonstrations for the silt fence, showing that the
runoff will pass water quality standards for sediment.
Also, for your information, Rule 4.05.9 (6) states that excavated impoundments
will meet all applicable requirements of 4.05.9. Rule 4.05.9 (13) requires
quarterly inspections and reports and an annual report for all impoundments.
Another approach to the 2 drill sites might be as small area exemptions, with
demonstrations, since the areas are so small.
If you have any questions, please call.
Sincerely,
(~ D,.~~C
oseph J "Dudash
Reclamation Specialist
JJD/jfg
cc.
