Long
Division Director
Re: Mamm Creek Sand and Gravel, Permit No. M-2000-113}'Technical Revision (TR) TR-Ol.'~
Deaz Mr. Wujek:
A review of Roaring Forks Resources request for TR for the above referenced site has been completed.
Two issues that have come up are first, that the maps are not signed by the person who prepared them.
Rule 6.2.1 (2)(b) of the Construction Materials Rules and Regulations requires the signature. It appears
as if the lack of signature wasn't caught during the original permit process. So now is the time to fix this
minor but necessazy item. This Office is returning the maps for signatures and must be returned.
Secondly, some documentation from the Army Corp of Engineers requesting the revisions and their
approval should be supplied for the File. Please submit copies of correspondence between parties
concerning the revision requests and approvals.
Upon receipt of the corrected maps and documentation the following Revisions to the Mining Plan will
be accepted:
1) A reduction of 9.89 acres from the Slough Mining Area as denoted on the new maps C-1 and F-1 to
27.97 acres.
2) A reduction of 3.37 acres from the West Property Line to West Horse Fence Area (Phase 1) as
denoted on new maps C-2 and F-2 to 48.14 acres. The total area to be deducted is 13.26 acres from the
original permitted acreage of 308.36 acres. This makes the revised permitted acreage total as 295.1
acres.
3) The addition of four (4) pit flood and storm water outlets in the locations noted on the new Map C-1.
The construction specifications for the outlets /inlets submitted with this TR request will be noted as
well.
(continued)
