Townsend, Montrose, CO
Conversion Application to Continue Extracting
Materials from Pit Owned by Uncompahgre Valley
Water Users' Association
Dear Sirs:
Ik,-%~- _ toL
-~
We contacted the Division in mid-January this year with
regard to complaints our client, Ms. Sandra Galbreth had regarding
the operation of Western Gravel, Inc.'s pit, located adjacent to
her property in Montrose County.
Since the date of that letter, Western Gravel has acted
to remedy the most significant of her complaints which was the
storage of junk machinery along the boundary fence between her
property and the Water Users' property. She has been advised that
a significant portion of that junk and refuse has been relocated
and she is assured that the balance of the offensive materials will
be removed shortly. For that reason, therefore, she is, by this
letter, removing any further objection to the extension of their
right to operate the gravel pit.
If you have any questions, you may contact Ms. Galbreth
through this office.
Sincerely yours,
BRADLEY & LUNDY
N.
