The coal is delivered to the ttain loadout by haul truck from the Bowie No. 2 and the Bowie No. I Mines, so an
increase in truck traffic along Old Highway 133 and Highway 133 will result.
The underground coal mining operation is on land located approximately 3 miles north of Paonia, Colorado. The permit area
is further described as follows:
Portions of Sections I, 2, 3, 10- I5, 22-25, Township 13 South, Range 92 West of the 6th P.M.
Portions of Sections 5-8, 17-19, 29-32, Township 13 South, Range 91 West of the 6th P.M.
The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Bowie.
A copy of the technical revision application is available for public inspection a[ the Delta County Courthouse, 5th & Palmer,
Delta, CO 81416, and at the Division office.
