Box 758
GREELEY, COLORADO 80632
.>,.
J
This letter is to try to clear up the questions and the location of the new
amendment on the Geisert Pit.
The location of the amendment is in the existing application #M-78-210. Due
to the city placing a water Line through the center of the gravel operation,
we had to amend the size of Pit #1 and also Pit #2. We will be mining the same
amount of material and the same areas, but we need to alter the size of the
ponds; changing pond area #1 to 29 acres and pond #2 to 16 acres. We are just
reversing the size of the ponds at the same locations. See Exhibit F, Sheet
3. for clarification.
If you have any additional questions, or still are unclear on the situation,
please give me a call.
Sincerely,
1-Y(~Y~ ~""" ' " ~
Donald Carroll
Administrative Manager
DC/pds:I.KESFF
Attachment
cc: Commissioner Kirkmeyer
File
Barbara Chiappone Staff Assistant
