Please note the letter
from Ken Klco dated Oct. 7, 1997 and your public notice as to location.
There does exist a dangerous cliffwhich I estimate to be 40 feet or higher, and
approximately 200 feet Iong. The material on this cliff is unstable and this is evidenced by
numerous bolders lying at the base of it. This poses a tlueat to domestic animals, wild life,
and people. I seek to have this danger corrected during the period ofreclamation. The
consulting engineer, Ken Klco, has stated to me that Azurite Inc. does not intend to correct
this particular hazard . It is irpperative that this cliff be made safe.
Enclosed is a photograph of the above described cliff and a map which I made
showing the location.
Sincerely yoin's, ~ D
~~
Richard L Clifton
Enclosures: 4
