Based on your telephone conversation with
Candy Thompson on December 2, 1985, and on Candy's memo of December 3, 1985,
to Gregg Squire, the following determinations have been made: .
1. Your request to delete analysis for zinc from your surface water
monitoring program can be approved.
2. Your request to include settable solids in the surface water program is
a}so acceptable.
3. As indicated in Candy's December 3, 1985 memo, certain phrases included
in pages 4-205 and 4-239a are not acceptable because they presuppose bond
release criteria or because they are not in compliance with our. regulations.
Upon notification from you as to how your wish to proceed, the Division can
issue a revision approving the items discussed in sections 1 and 2 of this
letter and disapproving of item 3; or you may withdraw the unacceptable
sections of your application.
We may also approve a modified version of this application if you prefer to
resubmit your revision application.
Please let us know how you wish to handle this matter.
questions, contact us.
Sincerely,
.~ ~ .:J
Gregg R.
