Suite 310 <br />Albuquerque, New Mexico 87102 <br />Re: Phase I Bond Release - Eckman Park Mine File: C-81-071 <br />Dear Mr. Austin: <br />The Division has recently approved a partial Phase I bond release request in <br />part, submitted by Colorado Yampa Coal Company fCYCC) for their Eckman Park <br />Mine complex located near Steamboat Springs, Colorado. <br />Enclosed in this packet is the bond release application, landowner <br />notifications and correspondence, newspaper notices regarding the application <br />and the proposed decision, and OSM and Mined Land Reclamation bond release <br />inspection reports. A small amount of Bureau of Land Management land was <br />affected by the release, and Steve Bennett of the Bureau of Land Managements <br />Little Snake Resource Area participated in the inspection.
