P.E
Slzle Engineer
In your letter of September 24, 2001 containing responses from J. E. Stover 8 Associates
(Stover Engineering), concerns of the Division of Water Resources (DWR) outlined in our letter of
August 14, 2001 were addressed.
The explanation provided by Stover Engineering explains that the Ponds W-1 8r 2 (combined)
are smaller in volume and exposed surface area. If indeed those ponds are proposed as
replacements for the existing pond, then DWR's expressed concerns with regard to impacts on
water resources and water rights are addressed.
In this critical (overappropriated) stream system, the reduction of stored and/or evaporated
water would in fact be beneficial. Accordingly, DWR's concerns are fully and adequately
addressed.
r
Sind i~`E~zfiro
Chuck Roberts
Professional Engineer III
CGR:jmg
W201 L.cgr
