The application is
made so the proposed new site haulroad running from Highway 141 to the permit
boundary may be added to the permit affected area. Also enclosed is Parkerson
Construction, Inc.'s check No. 9648 in the amount of $1,550 which is submitted
in payment of the required amendment filing fee.
The proposed new haulroad is depicted on Amended Exhibits C and F in the
enclosed application and will measure approximately 1300 feet in length by 50
feet in width, traversing southeasterly from a paint on Highway 141 to the
point where the proposed haulroad intersects with the former Corn road (now
abandoned and subject to reclamation). The proposed new haulroad is situated
on permittee's private land and will contain approximately 1.49 acres of land
when widened and improved.
The proposed new haulroad is the same road used by you and me to access
the site during the inspection you conducted last June. The roadway will be
paved from the highway to the operations area.
Please advise when the permit amendment application is considered by the
Office to be "filed." If I do not hear from the Division Office in several
days, I will call to check the status of the application. Should you have
questions regarding the enclosed application, please contact me at any time at
(970) 241-0483, or contact Mr. Alan Parkerson at (970) 242-8134.
Yours truly,
Milton G.
