Watcher
Execwwe Drteaor
Ntichael B. long
Drtenor
I have forwarded your January 29, 1999 adequacy response for the above referenced revision to
Ms. Heidi Frey of the Office of the State Engineer (OSE). She will be sending an update to you
within the next 7-10 days. At this point, it appears that additional steps may be required of you
by the Office of the State Engineer to resolve water concems associated with final reclamation of
the M&G Pit. And, it is questionable whether these concems can be resolved by the March 16,
1999 decision date set by the Division. Upon receip[ of the OSE correspondence, please advise
if additional time is needed to resolve the water concems.
Please call me at (303) 866-3567 if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Irti°Q ~~~12iSM.J~/
Thomas A.
