WFU operates the mine under a Mining and Reclamation permit issued by the Colorado Division of <br />Minerals $ Geology (DMG). The DMG permit No. C-81-018 is due to expire on July 27, 1994. WFU has <br />applied to DMG for afive-year term renewal of the permit. There is no change in the permit boundary or <br />currently permitted activities. <br />With this letter, WFU is requesting that USFWS provide a copy of the current list of threatened and endangered <br />species which could occur in the vicinity of the project along with applicable reports, survey results and like <br />information. Also please include recommended survey methods for listed species along with possible mitigation <br />measures. Please provide this information to me and to the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology at the <br />following address: <br />Ms. Barbara Pavlik <br />Environmental Protection Specialist <br />Division of Minerals and Geology <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />Table A attached with this letter gives the legal description of the mine permit area. During the October 1992 <br />to September 1993 water year, about 192.8 acre-feet of the White River water was pumped out.
