Cottony <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />M-1998-014, Amendment No. 1 Reclamation Cost Estimatev <br />Enclosed please find the reclamation cost estimate resulting from the revised mining and <br />reclamation plans specified in Amendment No 1 to Permit M-1998-014 for the Gypsum Ranch Pit <br />and the current site conditions. Amendment No. 1 to this permit was approved on March 4, 2004 <br />with a formal approval letter mailed to Lafarge under separate cover. <br />Based on the enclosed calculations, it is evident that the site is currently under-bonded. Therefore, <br />pursuant to Section 34-32.5-117(4) of the Colorado Land Reclamation Act, adequate financial <br />warranty must be submitted to DMG within 60 days.
