RECEIVED
tICT t 62002 `~
Division of Minerals and Geology
~ Imo, o0
TR-!
To: The Division of Minerals and Geology 10/5/02
Re: Technical Revision for Permit # M-92-009
Gillette Sand and Grave!
Gillette Sand and Gravel requests from your Division to reduce the current bond
of $35,310.00 covering 10 acres by two thirds (2/3) to the amount of $11,770.00
covering 3.3 acres. The subsequent change of the active mine site to the Northwest
corner of the existing property is exhibited on the following page/ map.
Please note that the remaining area of wetlands within the property boundaries
encompasses 4 acres in the shape of a parallelogram. This riparian habitat had covered
an area some 18 acres prior to the natural flood event. The Army Corps of Engineers
and specifically Diana Humphries conducted an on site inspection to determine this
remaining wetland area.
Sincerely,
Mark Ye~~~ii
Gillette Sand a(nd Gravel
