The stockpile of asphalt waste material noted on the west portion o Fthe gravel pit has been removed. In addition, dirt piles and some street sweepings have been removed as well. We will be careful in the future to keep unapproved material away from the permitted boundaries of the gravel pit. The City of Lamar would like to request a release of reclamation responsibility for the East 2.284 Acres of the currentgravel pit. This area is noted on the attached drawing. The reclamation requirements have been satisfied for the primary use of the land to be Wildlife Habitat. Thisportion of the-Navel pit has not been in use for years, allowing for the re- vegetation of the various species of grasses that are evident currently. These grasses have provided adequate cover and are well established from years past. A certified letter was hand delivered to Prowers County and a copy of the signed receipt is attached.
