We would like to submit the following as a technical recision as per the landowner's request. Silver Hawk Ranch would like to plant oats or another annual crop for the first several yeazs of reclamation on those acres of the West End Gravel Pi[ that have been prepared for planting The first several years' crops n•ould be disked into the soil to improve the organic content. Then, permanent gasses would be pianted on those areas. Please consider the planting of the annual crops the fast several years which would improve the soil and help maintain moisture for [he permanent Bass cover. The fences to the East and West of the West End gravel Pit azea need repairing to ensure that no livestock gaze the reclaimed ores. The mer will present livestock from entering the gavel pit azea from the South and high ridge to the North acts as a natural barrier. We do no[ believe that any new fences are necessan• to keep livestock out of the aeeas and in fact new fences would create problems for the planting and disking the annual crops. West End Gravel is in the process of reclaiming the high wall in the East end of the Northwest unit to a three [o one, and also [o the east end of the old pi[.
