The application. canndt be approved until the following <br />issues are adequately addressed. Please submit a response to the following issues as soon.as possible, <br />but no later than February 4, 2005 so the decision due date set for February 7, 2005 can be. met. If you <br />cannot respond by February 4, 2005 please submit a request for extension of the decision date. If your <br />response or an extension request are not received by February 4, 2005 this application may be denied. <br />1. Please commit to reduction of current mining slopes to a maximum grade of 3H:1V to ensure stability <br />and minimize erosion until mining. returns to these slopes. <br />2. Please submit a weed control and erosion control plan to be implemented on the currently affected <br />areas of the site that will presumably remain idle until the SW 1/4NW 1/4 of Section 3 is mined out. <br />3. Please clarify whether the asphalt plant and wash plant wilt be relocated to the new mining area or if <br />the material will be hauled to the current processing.area...lf the .material will be hauled to the <br />processing area, please indicate the proposed haul route.
