Dear: Mr., Steve Brown
On September 7, 2006 the Division of Mining, Reclamation and Safety received the Lafarge West Inc. notice of backfill
activity and associated affidavit related to the approved Technical Revision 7. The Technical Revision 7 was to revise
the backfill plan submitted under TR-6, by moving the placement of the 8.85. acre pond fill area toward the north end of
the permitsite, see map for location (see TR-7 documents for fwther details).
After review of these submissions, the Division finds the Lafarge West Inc. notice of backfill activity and associated
affidavit to be in compliance with Rule 3.1.5(9).
