This technical revision is submitted incompliance with Abatement
Requirement No. 6 which was imposed in conjunction with the recent enforcement action
taken by your office at the San Luis facility. Abatement Requirement No. 6 directs BMR
to "reevaluate its approved program for ground water monitoring, sampling apd analysis for
the tailings disposal area." The enclosed plan proposes the installation of two additional
ground water monitoring wells that can be used for both water quality monitoring and
remediation should any contamination be observed in local ground water. $MR believes
that the enclosed proposal to modify the ground water monitoring plan for the San Luis
facility meets all the requirements set forth in Abatement Requirement No. 6 and intends
to commence the procedures set forth in the proposal upon receipt of approval from your
office.
MARK N.
