A t»oy ofthe r~lzrion <br />shall be forwarded to the objecting party (Georgia Landrus) when submitted to the Division of <br />Minerals and Geology. 171e water quality monitoring plan must include a plan fro collection of <br />baseline or ambient water gualiry samples, specify the water quality parameters to be monitored, <br />specify a point of compliance, sped the frequency of monitoring and reporting to the Division, and <br />sped a mitigation plan in the event of an ecreedenee of a water quality parameter <br />The Groundwater Sampling and Analysis Plan included herein presents a plan for collecting baseline <br />water quality parameters, identifies the frequency of testing and the analytes to be tested during each <br />sampling event, specifies points of compliance, and exceedance measures. We have also included <br />the determination request that we made to the Environmental Protection Agency to ascertain if <br />Underground Injection Control permits are warranted, for your information. <br />Stipulation No. 2 <br />Prior to discharge ofmine water into existing ditches, the applicant will obtain approval from the <br />Division of Minerals and Geology for a ditch stabilization and erosion control plan in theform ofa <br />revision to the permit <br />The South Outlet Erosion Protection and West Villano Grading Plan Map addresses the ditch <br />stabilization and erosion control requirements mandated in Stipulation 2. Peak dewatering flows will <br />be less than 0.5 feet over the channel crest and length.
