Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Division received your adequacy response for the Trout Creek AM-Ol application on March 5, 2007. The <br />Division has one final adequacy items that must be addressed prior to approval of the application. <br />The operator provided a seed mixture to the Division, but did not provide the rate of seeding in pure live seeds <br />per acre (PLS). Based on [he species and the percentage rates provided by the operator, the Division <br />calculated the PLS as follows; <br />Specie (common name) Rate (PLS/acre) <br />Streambank Whea[grass 3.26 <br />Slender Wheatgrass 1.33 <br />Canada Bluegrass 0.07 <br />Hazd Fescue 0.29 <br />Pubescent Wheatgrass 2.18 <br />Big Bluegrass 0.08 <br />Blue Grama 0.12 <br />Switchgrass 0.05 <br />Sideoats Grama 1.64 <br />Indian Ricegrass 1.61 <br />Please commit to seeding in the rates of PLS/acre noted above. <br />Attached is a copy of the reclamation cost estimate for the site. The cost to the reclaim the 20 acre pazcel on <br />BLM land is approximately $30,000.00. Please see the Division's cost estimate for further detail Please be <br />advised that Trout Creek Amendment Ol Application may be deemed inadequate, and the application maybe <br />denied on March 19, 2007 unless the above-mentioned adequacy review items aze addressed to the satisfaction <br />of the Division. If you feel more time is needed to complete your reply, the Division can grant an extension to <br />the decision date. This will be done upon receipt of a written waiver of your right to a decision by March 19, <br />2007 and request for additional time.
