Old Heap Leach Reclamation Update
Dear Mr. Gei~ie3.:
This letter is provided to update the Division on the status
of the reclamation of the Old (ESI) Heap Leach area. The
reclamation of this area is addressed in section E.4 .:? of
the original permit application and section E.3.1 of the
permit amendment.
As outlined in BMRI's letter dated August 23, 1993, the
reclamation of the ESI hear. was planned for Fall 1993. Due
to the limited availabilit}~ of local contractor equipment.,
the removal of spent ore from the heap site was postponed to
Summer 1994 as updated in BMR.I's Or_tober 26, 1993 letter to
the Division.
Reclamation activities are scheduled to begin the weelc of
July 25 and continue for approx~.mately ~:ne month. The
reclamation activities will follow the program outlined in
the approved permit and detailed i*~ the A;7aust. 33, 19'33
letter to the Division. Contouring and top soil spreading
will take place during the late summer in preparation for
fall seeding.
