Snormass suhsequent.ly received approval <br />from the llepartment. of Health t.o eliminate discharge point UU1. <br />During; a site inspection on April 28, ]yR8 seeps mere noted in <br />the vicinity of Lhe Nn. ] Mine portals. As of this date the <br />seepage from the No. 1 Pline portals has heen contained and is <br />he.ing piped t.o a sediment pond. '1'reat.ment, ponds are currently <br />being constructed on site.
