Long <br />Drcis ian Ducc bi <br />RE: Bear Mines No. 1, 2, and 3; File No. C-81-033, Notice of <br />Violation C-95-024 <br />Dear Mr. Bear: <br />On December 1, 1995, the Division issued Notice of Violation (NOV) <br />C-95-024 to Bear Coal Company for failure to collect and provide <br />all required parameters associated with the hydrologic monitoring <br />of wells AA1 and AA3. Specifically, it was alleged that total <br />dissolved solids (TDS) were not analyzed for these wells as <br />required by the approved monitoring plan. However, with your <br />assistance and upon additional review by our staff, it was <br />determined that the TDS was analyzed by the laboratory and reported <br />in the Annual Hydrology Report.
