As we discussed during the Division inspection of
October 26, 1950, this rip-rap is necessary to armor the project diversion
ditches to minimize excessive sedimentation in off-site drainages during
heavy spring run-off.
Drilling and blasting are activities approved in your existing permit.
Therefore, you may proceed with quarrying for rip-rap production purposes.
We wish to remind you that milling, however, cannot occur until you have
received the water i°ights that are sufficient to proceed.
Should you have any further questions, please call me at (303) 866-3567.
Sincerely,
J/j//~
~~'~ ~'L'` LAC ~/~~Ll~l~'„ 4i
Daniel I.
