SH ELTON, Dlreetor <br />STATE OF COLORADO <br />MINED LAND RECLAMATION BOARD <br />DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES <br />In the Matter of: <br />G.E,C, Minerals, Inc. <br />Bond for Forfeiture Hearing <br />File No. C-81-037 <br />Findings of Fact <br />Conclusions of Law <br />and Board Order <br />This matter was presented in a Formal Public Hearing, after proper notice, <br />before the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board ("Board") on May 27, 19$7, in <br />Room 110 of the Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado. <br />The Board conducted the hearing to consider forfeiture of reclamation bonds <br />held by the Division for reclamation of the G,E.C. Minerals, Inc. strip mine. <br />The hearing was held in accordance with C,R.S. 34-33-124(4) and 2 CCR 407-2, <br />Rule 3,04. A taped transcript was made of the hearing. Pursuant to the <br />authority vested in the Board by C.R.S. 34-33-124(4) and 2 CCR 407-2, <br />Rule 3,04, the Board hereby makes the following findings of Fact, Conclusions <br />of Law and Board order. <br />FINDINGS OF FACT <br />1) On February 23, 1984, the Mined Land Reclamation Board revoked Permit No. <br />C-81-037 issued to G.E.C. Minerals, Inc. <br />2) On February 23, 1984, the Board voted to withold declaration of bond <br />forfeiture contingent on the submittal by G,E.C. of adequate information <br />needed to complete reclamation of the G.E.C, strip mine. <br />423 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 80203-2273 Tel.
