Banta, <br />Division Director <br />Enclosed, please find copies of nine letters of objection to the proposed San <br />Luis permit amendment. These letters of objection have been forwarded to the <br />Mined Land Reclamation Board members for their consideration. Mr•. Neal Cohen <br />and Ms. Nora Jacquez, representing various objectors, have also received <br />copies of these objections. As with the other objections we have forwarded to <br />you, we encourage Battle Mountain Resources to contact these individuals and <br />attempt to resolve their concerns. <br />Our records indicate that we have received 21 letters of objection through <br />December 14, 1989. At the December 14, 1989 Board meeting, the Board stated <br />that all objections received prior to December 14, 1989 would be accepted by <br />the Board. <br />We have received objections from the people listed below.
