Long <br />Division Director <br />This letter is issued incompliance with Rule 5.03.2(1)(d) of [he Regulations of the Colorado <br />Mined Land Reclamation Boazd for Coal Mining. The rule requires that the Division of <br />Minerals and Geology (DMG) notify all listed owners and controllers of any coal mine permittee <br />issued a cessation order (CO), within 60 days of issuance of the CO. <br />You are listed as an owner/controller of Powderhorn Coal Company, and are hereby notified that <br />DMG issued Failtue to Abate Cessation Order (FTA-CO) CO-98-001 [o Powderhorn Coal <br />Company for operations at the Roadside North and South Portals Mine (Permit No. C-81-041), <br />on January 21, 1998. The CO was issued for failure to abate Notice of Violation C-97-016.
