Bob Condon <br />Western Equipment & Truck Inc. / <br />2055 1~` Ave <br />Greeley, Co 80631 <br />Apri128, 2003 <br />~~,~ gBY~ <br />~ ~ 88, 00 <br />RECEr~E® <br />MAY 0 6 2003 ~ <br />Division ~f Minerals and Geolo9Y <br />Kate Pickford <br />CDMG <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />/ ~ <br />Re: Technical revisions- CDMG application #M-2002-052 <br />Dear Ms. Pickford: <br />~R- ~ / <br />Western Equipment has made technical revisions in our mining and reclamation plans. <br />As shown on enclosed drawings and cost table. <br />Summary of changes: <br />Mining of edges to be done to neaz vertical slope <br />Seal to be compacted clay covered by compacted clay & overburden mix (eliminates <br />liner) <br />Finished maximum shoreline is altered by inclusion of a proposed gas well in NW <br />corner of mining boundazy. <br />In USACE 404 application and NPDES plan a flow rate for dischazge is requested to <br />be 4.5 cfs maximum <br />For your purposes of pumping calculation we have included the attached capacity <br />chart showing the acre feet of water in each foot of elevation. This is based on the <br />maximum fmished lake boundary, the bank slope, and grading plan for the lake <br />bottom taking into account the bedrock contour. <br />Also note for pumpdown purposes that the water level can be lowered to 4720 <br />elevation before mechanical pumping must be used. <br />Western is requesting a new bonding calculation based on these changes. <br />Thank You <br />~~~~`~- <br />Bob Condon <br />
