Box 11 <br />Leadville, Colorado 80461 <br />RE: Webster Sand and Gravel - Lake County <br />Unpermitted Gravel Operation <br />Dear Mr, Cosgriff: <br />I have received your letter of January 15, 1981 concerning the above <br />captioned matter. I am enclosing four copies of the 112, regular <br />impact, mining and reclamation permit application. I am also in- <br />cluding copies of the Mined Land Reclamation Act and the Rules and <br />Regulations of the Mined Land Reclamation Board for your use in <br />beginning the permitting process for this operation. The process <br />time for such an application is within from the time the application <br />is filed complete with our Division. There is a $2.00 fee for the <br />Rules and Regulations that can be added to the application fee for <br />the operation when the application is submitted. <br />The cease and desist order mentioned in my letter of January 8 will <br />be considered by the Board during the January 28-29 meeting and <br />would not go into effect until actually issued by the Board at that <br />meeting. I have already placed Webster Sand and Gravel on the <br />agenda for that meeting For a possible cease and desist order, Mr. <br />Webster or his representative may appear at that time to present his <br />case in this matter, <br />I suggest that you contact Mr. Jim Sells of the Colorado Sand and <br />Cravel Producers Association for information concerning mining and <br />reclamation permit consultants. /lis address is 1777 S.
