This letter amends those instructions.
The reclamation release request needs to come from the Operator or a Contact as designated in the permit.
The request should be accompanied by an accurate map showing the release request azea. In this case, we
would anticipate no change in the bond amount as the area is such a minimal portion of the total permit
acreage. The Division will then inspect the area in the field.
DIVISION OF
MINERALS
GEOLOGY
RECLAMATION
MINING•SAFETY
Bill Owens
Governor
Greg E. Walther
Executive Director
Michael 8. Long
Division Director
I would recommend that the release azea circumscribe all the proposed monitoring wells and a 50 foot wide
zone outside the circumscribed azea. The area should be mazked in the field for the inspectors.
Please consult the appropriate sections of Rule 4.16 regarding notice of release request, and provide the
above materials. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Sincerely,
CG'y~ ..
Harry H. Posey
~Cc: CazlMount
