The penalty is in the amount of $100.00 per day for 14 days of <br />violation for a total Civil Penalty of $1,400.00. The duration is based on <br />the period from December 4, 1985 (inspection date) to December 18, 1985 (Board <br />Notice of Violation/Cease and Desist Order). Possible alternative durations <br />could have been calculated on the basis of actual years of operation. An <br />amount of $1,000.00 will be suspended if a proper permit issues no later than <br />April 24, 1986.
