Long <br />Division Dneaor <br />RE:: Acceptance of the ctober 1992 DRAFT Memorandum of Underlstanding; <br />ermit M-68-112 <br />I have completed a review of Dean Massey's third DRAFT of the "Memorandum of <br />Urlderstanding" (MOU> between DMG and Battle Mountain Resources Inc. This MOU <br />formalizes the relationship between DMG, BMRI and RCG/Hagler, Baillyl, Inc., <br />tte "Environmental Sampling Contractor", for the completion of the dhird party <br />sampling at Battle Mountain Gold's San Luis Project. <br />I have obtained Mike Long's signature on both originals, as authorised <br />representative of DMG. We must retain one signed copy for the Divislion's <br />files. In my absence, please contact Dean Massey and inform him thalt he may <br />send a messenger to collect the second signed original. Dean will fprward a <br />copy of the MOU for attachment to RCG/Hagler, Bailly Int.'s contract. <br />One step remains to finalize the three party relationship between DM' BMRI <br />and RCG Hagler, Bailly, Inc. Section VII of the MOU, "EFFECTIVE DATE", states <br />that the MOU shall become effective upon the signature of the authorized <br />representatives of the DMG and BMRI and approval by the Board of the~MOU. It <br />will be necessary for the Board to adopt a motion approving the MOU at the <br />October Board Meeting. <br />I appreciate your eagerness to schedule the first third party sampling <br />effort.
