I hope that this reply letter will answer your questions and concerns as well as be of <br />clarification for items you have listed. I will address each item in the same order that you <br />listed them. <br />EXHIBIT D- MINING PLAN <br />1.) The highwalls will be mined at a 3H: 1 V gradient during mining, this will reduce the <br />earth moving for the reclamation phase of the mine reclamation. The depth of the <br />aggregate deposit to be mine is approximately 30 to 40 foot deep and the stratum <br />immediately beneath the material to be mined is (Tu- Loose to moderately cemented <br />sand and gravel; also shale; alluvial and lakebed deposits; up to 200-300 feet thick or <br />more; occws as valley fill in mountain areas; eroded to gentle, rolling hills or <br />sometimes exposed in small buttes and ridges in eastern Colorado.)1 <br />EXHIBIT E- RECLAMATION PLAN <br />2.) (a) As noted in the application the landowner states that the access road is to left <br />remaining after mining is complete. This will leave. an improved road, which accesses <br />the property. To complete this application-and to comply with the rules and regulations <br />of the ACT we have enclosed a notarized document from the landowner confirming <br />the intention to leave the haul-road after completiomof mining.
