Final side slopes on areas we hove disturbed eat a 3 to 1 <br />steepness is acceptable. There ere some slopes within the <br />permitted nree steeper than 3 to 1 which mill not be <br />disturbed. <br />2. We agreed to divert off site drainage <br />around the reclaimed slopes. In regard to Sncreasing the me7or disturbance <br />to give more room for increase rate of mining, we would <br />prefer to leave it at 10 acres. If more mayor disturbances <br />we required because of market demands, we would submit a <br />technical revision to the permit at that time. <br />5. The topsoil will be pushed by a dozer for a distance varying <br />from 100 feet to 300 feet. In re£erring to appendix A-2 of <br />Mr. O'Connor's memo of March 14, 1983 regarding heavy <br />equipment costs, we suggest that the coat of this topsoiling <br />should be 5.65 per cubic yard. We agree that the seeded <br />area should be mulched with two tons of straw pez acre. In <br />the past we have been using the figure of 5300 per acre for <br />seeding, fertilizing, and mulching.
