An examination <br />of our files shows no mining and reclamation permit for this operation. Therelore, <br />I plan to bring this matter before the iSined Lend RecleBatioa Board during the <br />January 28-29, 1981 meeting and present a possible Cease and Desist Order on your <br />operation for mining without a permit, is violation of the aforementlonnd Act <br />(C.R.S. 1973, 3a-32-109). '11:e Board may also consider holding a public hearing <br />dazing a future meeting to consider civil penalties of from $100.00 to $1,000.00 <br />par day of illegal operation (C.A.S. 1973, 34-32-123(2)). I suggest that it would <br />be is your beat interests to have a representative at this meeting. The meeting will <br />ba bald in Room 110, Centennial Bldg., 1313 Sharman St., Denver, Colorado. Lou may <br />call this office on the preceding Monday or Tuesday to find out the approaimate time <br />that your case will be heard. <br />I also received information that you may be operatiog other pits in Lake County. If <br />ao, these operations would also be is violation of the Act, if not permitted. I <br />suggest that you slake arraagamenta with this office to begin the permitting procsa• <br />on all of your operations as soon u possible. If any specialist from our Division <br />inspects any of your other pits in the !afore, if that' era unpermitted, they will be <br />aub~eet to the same potential actlona as the pit mentioned in this letter. <br />.
