Although the memorandum notes that <br />recently-collected samples are being evaluated on a rapid turnaround basis, it does not <br />indicate what will be done to prevent the problem in the future. <br />Provided the barrel filter is causing the problem because the filter is inherently <br />contaminated, then should to be replaced, whether the next sample run gives negative <br />results or not. If BMG or Halapeska do not agree we should ask, at least, for an <br />explanation telling how the barrel filter will be re-commissioned. <br />m:\min\hhplyjb\BMG 1 <br />
